Matthew Hiltzik is the President and CEO of Hiltzik Strategies, where he advises leaders across business, finance, technology, and education on managing and advancing their reputations.
A former Press Secretary for the New York State Democratic Committee and communications advisor to Hillary Clinton’s first Senate campaign, Matthew later served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Miramax Films and helped launch Freud Communications’ U.S. operations before founding Hiltzik Strategies in 2008.
Matthew serves on the board of New York City’s Economic Development Corporation and is active with organizations including the Ghetto Film School, Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media, and the JCRC of New York. He has also produced five documentaries, including the award-winning Paper Clips and Documented.
Matthew earned his B.S. from Cornell University and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Dana and their three children.
