The Scholarships for Higher Education program empowers Israel’s wounded warriors to pursue academic and professional dreams, without financial barriers. By covering tuition, supplies, and essential learning tools, we offer a lifeline to those rebuilding their lives after injury.
For many of Israel’s wounded warriors, the injuries they sustained in service brought their futures to a halt. Dreams were interrupted. Plans were postponed. Education and professional development often became distant goals.
Through this program, we offer more than just tuition assistance - we provide the foundation for a new beginning. Academic studies and professional training have proven to be critical steps in the healing process, helping veterans rebuild confidence and regain their sense of purpose.
Scholarships cover tuition, books, laptops, and transportation, giving recipients the freedom to focus fully on their studies. Many pursue fields like medicine, tech, education, and public service - areas that strengthen Israel’s future.
Each year, Friends of The Irgun provides scholarships to 750 wounded Israeli warriors, helping them rebuild their lives through education, training, and opportunity.
Applications are submitted annually and reviewed by a scholarship committee after each academic year.
