As more women serve in combat roles, the number of female wounded warriors has grown - now representing over 7% of the wounded from the current war. Yet their unique recovery needs are often overlooked. “Now Me” was created to change that, offering a safe and empowering space for female wounded soldiers to heal physically, emotionally, and socially.
Through group therapy, creative workshops, nature retreats, and peer support, participants are encouraged to share their stories and rebuild their inner strength. Led by expert therapists - many of them veterans themselves - this program fosters deep connection, resilience, and renewed self-worth. The bonds formed often last long after the program ends, creating a sisterhood of support that carries forward into life beyond recovery.

Each year, 10 dedicated groups offer 15 women a safe, empowering space to heal together – physically and emotionally.
Each group meets weekly for 20 intensive, 3-hour sessions over the course of 5 months. The cost is $7,500 per participant, or $112,500 to sponsor an entire group.
